Tracy Ford is an editor with RCR Wireless News. She started with RCR Wireless News in 1990 as a reporter and has been covering the wireless industry ever since. Ford has established herself as an expert in the wireless industry having covered many of its defining moments, including the technology wars, the PCS auctions and the rise of 3G networks. Ford is also a recognized leader in providing thoughtful and insightful commentary on issues impacting the wireless industry and is regularly a moderator of educational panels at industry trade events. A graduate of Minnesota State University – Moorhead, she holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mass Communications.
Erik Neitzel is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff for U.S. Cellular Corporation, where he serves as the company’s subject matter expert for wireless technology. Erik is a member of the Technology Development group, which researches, trials, and evaluates wireless access networks, and has been leading U.S. Cellular’s LTE technical trial effort. Prior to his work at U.S. Cellular, Erik served as a Sr. RF Engineer with PrimeCo Communications and was a Fire Control supervisor for naval gunfire and missile systems in the U.S. Navy. Erik holds a M.S. in Information Technology from Northwestern University and a B.S. from Regents College.
Dave Williams is the Senior Vice President of Wireless Technology at Comcast Corporation, headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is responsible for the evaluation and strategy of wireless technology solutions. Additionally, his expertise
serves the boards of the GSM Association, Vantage Point, Bubble Motion, Femto Forum & WiMax Forum.
Mike Roberts is Principal Analyst and Head of Americas at Informa Telecoms & Media with a focus on operator strategy in North and Latin America and global mobile network
technology including mobile broadband, LTE and femtocells. Mike is based in the US and manages Informa’s research teams in North and Latin America. His work appears in the Americas and other sections of Informa’s Intelligence Centres, World Cellular Information Service (WCIS) and World Broadband Information Service (WBIS).
Glenn Wellbrock is the Director of Optical Transport Network Architecture and Design at Verizon, where he is responsible for the development of new technologies for both the
metro and long haul transport infrastructure. Previous positions include running the advanced technology lab, establishing evaluation criteria, and setting engineering guidelines for all backbone transport equipment as well as various positions within network operations. In addition to his 20+ years at Verizon (1984-2001 & 2004-present), Glenn was responsible for Product Architecture within the USA focused optical networks group at Marconi and Product Planning at Qplus Networks with a specific focus on developing alternative modulation techniques.
